Suppliers
Work with our operations
Five operations buy catering, transport, earthworks, maintenance and technical services. The path from registration to a purchase order is three steps, and the standards are the same everywhere.
Process
From registration to purchase order
The register is reviewed by a category specialist at each regional office, not a central call centre.
Step 1
Register
Complete the registration form below. Your details go into the regional procurement register and a category specialist reviews them within ten working days.
Step 2
Qualify
Sites verify insurance, safety record and statutory licences for your category. Local businesses are given a fast-track review with the community team.
Step 3
Work
Qualified suppliers receive tenders for their category and site. Payment times are published each quarter alongside the production report.
Standards
Four rules every supplier works to
Safety is a condition of entry
Every supplier works to the site critical-control standards, with induction before the first shift and quarterly performance reviews.
Environmental obligations in the contract
Waste, water and rehabilitation obligations flow down from the operating licence into every contract, audited annually.
Payment in 30 days
Invoices paid within 30 days of approval; small local businesses are paid in 14 days through the early-payment scheme.
Local first
A regional business register is used before any national tender for catering, transport, earthworks and maintenance support.
Registration
Register your business
Register in one category to begin; further categories can be added once your business is qualified.
